This whitening treatment aims to lift stains and provide longer-lasting results for a better price than some of the other recognisable whitening brands on the market.

White GLO is a well known Australian brand which was launched in 1995.

They have many whitening products on offer and are distributed throughout large shopping retailers, Australia wide.

For the Diamond Series review, we asked a lady by the name of Renata who is 40 years old to review this White GLO whitening system and give us unbiased feedback.

Let’s see what Renata thinks!

First Impressions – Packaging and Design

The packaging was professional and it looked like a premium product, notably because of the silver and blue.

There were simple instructions on the back of the package.

White GLO Diamond Series Packaging

The Packaging: A professional looking whitening system

I like that there is a window hole on the front of the box, so you can actually see the product.

The box is sturdy and ensures the products don’t damage nor squash inside.

The image of the dentist and the ADA logo gave me the impression that it was medically endorsed and trustworthy.

The back of the White GLO diamond series packaging

A look at the back of the Diamond Series packaging

I liked the before and after teeth photos. It was evident that it works and made me hopeful.

The packaging and the box are both 10 out of 10.

Features of White GLO Diamond Series

In terms of features, the mouthpiece was quite comfortable and it’s easy to clean with warm water.

White GLO diamond Series mouth tray

The mouth tray was comfortable to use

It’s clearly labelled for which direction it is to be put in once it’s in your mouth.

The gel. It’s easy to apply, a great size tube, and you don’t need to press down hard.

The Diamond series white glo toothpaste and whitening gel

A combo pack featuring choice toothpaste and whitening gel

The gel comes out at a great pace, and it’s easy to apply to the mouth guard.

Dispensing White GLO diamond series whitening gel

The gel comes in a generous size tube

The toothpaste. It’s pleasant tasting. I’d buy this again as an individual product and have it as my ongoing toothpaste.

In terms of the instructions, I’ll go into more detail as part of my day one diary, but the product marketers would benefit from some feedback as to the step by step process and perhaps add a few FAQs, which would be beneficial.

White GLO choice toothpaste

I did like that the instructions were printed on a folded cardboard pamphlet which was sturdy and in colour gloss.

Out of 10, I’d give the kit an eight, minus only for the instructions.

My Review Diary

I was asked to keep a diary when using the White GLO diamond series system. Below is my experience while using it.

Day 1

At first, I wasn’t sure if I should brush my teeth before applying the gel.

I had to read over the instructions quite thoroughly. It was only after reading the hints on the back that I saw it said not to brush before and to do so after. This info really should be in the step by step instructions.

I wasn’t sure which of the tubes was the whitening gel. At first, I assumed the white one was, and had to scan the words for the toothpaste.

The instructions in the pamphlet with the three simple steps were easy to understand.

The diagram definitely helped me understand how to apply, though I don’t think I applied enough when I first used it.

To be honest, I didn’t read the four-page pamphlet before I began, as I was anxious to begin and simply skimmed over the instructions.

I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to bite down once the guard was in my mouth and for a few minutes, it became uncomfortable.

Towards the nearing of the 15 minutes, I was ready to spit out the excess liquid in my mouth.

Day 2 and 3

I knew how to apply more gel and I bite down as hard.

By day three, the mouth guard felt more comfortable and the 15 minutes flew by as I watched TV. And so this was pretty much the case for the next few days.

Day 4 and 5

I’m finding the mouth tray and whitening gel easy to apply and being able to use it at home is great, especially when you are just relaxing on the couch.

After a few days of use, my friend, who was not aware that I was doing the whitening treatment, commented that my teeth were white, so I interpret that as a further testament to the product.

Price and Value

This product is available instore and online at most of Australia’s largest shopping companies.

The great thing about White GLO is that the product is readily available throughout Australia.

You can purchase the Diamond Series whitening system either through Amazon or direct from White GLO

You can also find it at the following retail stores:

  • Chemist Warehouse
  • Coles
  • Woolworths
  • Priceline

Priced usually between $19.95 and $25.00, it is affordable for most Australians who are looking for a good whitening solution.

Even though it only has half the % amount of Carbamide Peroxide of some other whitening kits available in Australia, it still offers great value for money and also results with consistent use.

Overall

White GLO Diamond Series is a great value for money teeth whitening system for around $20.

Renata our reviewer, could definitely see results after a couple of days and was impressed by how easy it was to use.

Sensitivity wasn’t an issue with this whitening product as it has a reduced amount of carbamide peroxide.

I would absolutely use White Glow Diamond Series again, and I’ve seen it available in Coles and online, which is where I will purchase it from when I do it again in a few months time.

I’d highly recommend this product!
